HARIBO of America is growing at our office in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Customer Category Sales Analyst is responsible for identifying key insights, sales trends, identify gaps, and provide data and reporting that supports key business decisions specifically related to our Walmart and Sam's Club business.

Located on-site at our satellite office in the Bentonville, Arkansas office, the Customer Category Sales Analyst will leverage data and analyze sales data, create and run reports, work extensively with IRI and/or Nielsen data, as well as point-of-sales POS data for Walmart using Luminate software. Additionally, the Customer Category Sales Analyst will also help create fact-based selling stories to drive insight into active and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with or for Walmart and/or Sam's Club, strong working knowledge of IRI, Nielsen, NPD, or other syndicate sales data, have a minim of a completed Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage data and analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and potential developmental opportunities
  • Support Director of Sales-Walmart/Sam's Club with analysis and insights designed to support key business decisions
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with Walmart and Sam's Club through frequent contact, delivering actionable insights and sharing of best practices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product category and industry trends
  • Utilize customer specific software, Luminate, to pull data and create reports
  • Create fact-based selling stories with data to drive action into insight

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience working for a manufacturer or broker that sells consumer goods into Walmart or Sam's Club OR experience working directly for Walmart/Sam's Club corporate office
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience using Nislen, IRI, Circana, NPD, Spins, or related data systems

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Confection and/or other food category experience
  • Experience with CPFR and customer replenishment (GRS, etc)
  • Prior experience using Retail Link and/or Madrid
Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay organized and work on initiatives simultaneously
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
