Summary:

The Financial Analyst at Meitheal Pharmaceuticals will play a vital role in supporting financial planning activities, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans. Reporting to the Associate Director of FP&A, the incumbent will collaborate with business leaders and Cost Center Managers to analyze results and projections, striving to maximize profitability for the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing annual plans and quarterly forecasts on portfolio profitability and departmental operating expenses.
• Conduct day-to-day finance activities, including monthly variance analysis, ad hoc analysis, report generation, and financial system maintenance.
• Utilize data-driven insights to enhance overall business performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Prepare analysis for monthly financial reporting, synthesizing information into actionable items.
• Support various stakeholders with Tableau data visualizations and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related field.

Nice to have:

• Additional relevant advanced degree(s) and/or certification(s) preferred, such as CPA/MBA.
• Proficiency in data mining, variance reporting, databases, and creating reports in BI tools.
• Previous experience in Finance roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to Gross to Net and S&OP challenges.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence Tools.
• Ability to optimize data analytics to drive business decisions efficiently.
