Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all incoming/outgoing mail services; receives, sorts and distributes all mail, packages, and office supplies daily, ensuring that all packages and accountable mail is tracked and signed for.
  • Respond to inquiries and customer service requests with professionalism and expediency
  • Maintain inventory of all necessary supplies
  • Keeps accurate records/logs of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Collect and prepare monthly reports
  • Perform regular inspections of workspace(s) to identify area/items/equipment/materials in need of repair, replacement, and/or upgrades
  • Train, coach, and mentor office services associates and/or junior associates
  • Sets priorities, motivates others, and fosters/nurtures teamwork
  • Communicate effective and professionally through speech, email, chats, and phone
  • Provides outstanding customer service at all times, without exception
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalency required; higher education preferred
  • Mailroom experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products including: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Teams
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities and exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be adaptable to a dynamic environment while possessing strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to learn new skills quickly
  • Flexible and able to juggle multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities
  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Able to remain diplomatic in stressful situations; team oriented and has the capacity to build strong working relationships both within the team and with external stakeholders/customers
  • Exhibits superior verbal and written customer service skills
  • Maintains confidentiality while working with highly sensitive materials
  • Able to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift or move 50lbs or greater at times
