Job/Internship Description

The Arkema Well-being program helps employees and covered family members focus on their well-being and quality of life. This Intern will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning, implementing, and evaluating the employee health and well-being program for the 2024-2025 program year. Additionally, the intern will promote the mission of the Human Resources and Well-being program.

This intern will:

  • Assist in the creation and development of the 2024-2025 Arkema Well-being program with Castlight, supporting the review of communications print and online materials, reviewing the Castlight online application/system and connecting with internal partners (HR Managers/HRBP's and Well-being Champion network) to support the rollout of the new program year for a go-live date of July 1, 2024
  • Taking part in the monthly Well-being champion meetings working with Castlight account Manager and Sr. Health and Welfare Benefits Analyst assisting with delivering content and updates to the group via the MS Teams room
  • Working with the Health and Welfare Benefits team to prepare the annual well-being communications calendar and monthly well-being topics and activities for 2024-2025
  • Working with the benefits team to support the belonging blue-print/employee focus groups to help the benefits team reviewing future benefit offerings
  • Participate in the review of results from the HERO Scorecard benchmarking process with Mercer
  • Consulting to assist in creating a roadmap for the well-being program

Our ideal intern has the following education focus and skills:

  • Pursuing a degree in business, finance, accounting, communications, wellness, health promotion, health education or related health field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop health content
  • Must possess good organizational skills, efficiency and effectiveness, including proven capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously while paying attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting, with the ability to draw insights and make data-informed recommendations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, changing, and diverse environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
