TRC is currently seeking various level Construction Inspectors to become part of our Construction Inspection team for our upcoming NYSDOT & NYS Thruway bridge and highway construction projects in Syracuse, NY area. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess demonstrated hands on experience and technical expertise in bridge and highway rehabilitation and construction. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.

• Perform WZTC (Work Zone Traffic Control) inspections to confirm compliance as per the project MPT and staging plans.
• Perform field inspections to ensure the work performed by the Contractor is incompliance with the contract drawings and specifications.
• Perform field material tests as necessary.
• Take field measurements, collect field data and prepare DWRs as per MURK requirements.

• Must have bridge and/or highway construction experience with NYSDOT, NYS Thruway or local municipalities.
• NICET Level II or higher (or degree equivalency) is required.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK Documentation and using Site Manager.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Night Shift, over-time and potential weekend work availability.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $30-50/Hr. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
