Overview

The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the Corporate Treasury team and helping to establish global banking oversight. The Treasury department's primary responsibilities include administering the corporate banking operations, managing multiple cash disbursement processes, ensuring adequate liquidity of corporate non-ZBA bank accounts, and monitoring cash positions of overseas subsidiaries. This position will be responsible for managing the Corporate Treasury team's day-to-day functions. In addition, this role will be viewed as a treasury subject matter expert and expected to be a key contributor to all treasury related projects, lead global banking initiatives and help develop global cash reporting & cashflow forecasts.

Responsibilities
    Manages the day-to-day cash disbursements on all bank accounts, ensures that non ZBA and concentration accounts are kept funded. Acts as a liaison to accounting and business units to ensure all cash activity is recorded appropriately on the accounting ERP systems.
  • Manages a team of treasury agents, coaches and mentors' staff as needed, hire new staff and assist with training new staff as needed.
  • Manages the performance of team's daily duties, ensuring that tasks are handled efficiently and accurately in accordance with company policies and set procedures.
  • Manages the company banking activities, this can include managing check exceptions reports, bank verifications, using online banking systems, maintaining bank statements, analyzing bank fees and implementing banking-related changes as needed.
  • Establish, co-ordinate and maintain global banking oversight over all AIT bank accounts.
  • Acts as primary contact for company banking activities and merchant services.
  • Maintains and supports bank account management including signatory updates, securing KYC requirements, user portal adminstrator, ensuring that all accounts are up to date with correct information and valid users.
  • Lead opening and closing on company domestic and global bank accounts.
  • Completes and conducts performance reviews, team goal setting, conducts interviews and handles training of new employees.
  • Streamline and improve treasury processes and applications, drive automation initiatives that increase efficiency, controls and accuracy of information.
  • Serves as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on all treasury products and services.
  • Help to identify global multi-bank reporting systems and drive implementation of.
  • Help establish and monitor company cash management reporting and company cashflow forecasts.
  • Work alongside Corporate Finance Management Team, as needed on new treasury management projects, including but not limited to:
  • Testing new digital products along with implementation
  • Troubleshooting existing products
  • Perform other duties and miscellaneous projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, or related experience Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years of wide-ranging experience in a treasury or finance related function with responsibilities for daily cash management and cash flows. Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Previous experience with AS400 and Cargo Wise a plus! (High proficiency)
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint (High proficiency)
  • Treasury administration and leadership experience required. (High proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)-AFP Preferred or
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
