POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager, Medical Management is responsible for the ongoing project management and support of the various medical management projects at Allied. This position works directly with Allied's Case Management, Enhanced Case Management, and Allied Advocate departments, vendor partners, and consultants to facilitate change. The position will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, outline next steps, and oversee all steps of projects until completion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the coordination of multiple projects containing various levels of complexity and scope.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure milestones are met on all projects, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation and reporting.
Conduct assessments to determine both operation and technological related requirements for impacted processes.
Collaborate and influence multiple partners within the company to ensure project objective and performance standards are met.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans throughout project life cycle, while utilizing strong change management skills to ensure scope creep does not overtake the project.
Gather and analyze information regarding issues and potential challenges that may impact the project or workflows.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of Allied business needs and workflows with respect to Medical Management and cost containment processes and workflows.
Manage the day-to-day relationships between Allied and external partners involved in projects, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards while maintaining strong relationships to optimize partnerships.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 5 years' experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring within the healthcare industry is required.
At least 3 years proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, set project goals, and ensure project success.
Experience with workflow development and flowcharting tools such as Visio, SmartDraw, etc. required.
Intermediate level work experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, OneNote, Project, and Power Point software applications required.
Experience in healthcare and/or major medical insurance benefits industry preferred.
PMP Certification preferred.
Agile project management experience preferred.
Power BI experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
Strong computer skills, which include navigating multiple systems and web-based applications, and the ability to understand and adapt to new software programs.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
