Overview:

The Marketing Specialist assists the Sales Enablement team with increasing revenue by helping to execute, measure, and report on the team's promotional activities for ADA Store, SmileCon, ADA Continuing Education, and industry-focused campaigns. The position handles key steps of promotions to streamline the team's workflow, keeps promotions on schedule and on budget, and creates select promos from start to finish.

The specialist works closely with the content strategy manager and digital manager to execute strategies created by marketing managers, geared primarily toward dental practices and industry customers. Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate promotions planned by marketing managers, such as emails, mailers, ads, articles, and social media campaigns
  • Keep review process on schedule for catalogs and other major print publications
  • Monitor performance of emails and share results with the team; may occasionally lay out and deploy select emails in HubSpot or other system to support digital manager
  • Track A/B test results and keep testing plan on track with strategic goals
  • Coordinate tradeshow booths and other sales activities - create flyers, signs, slide decks and other collateral, compile and ship materials
  • Ensure high quality communications by proofreading promo content and reviewing images
  • Maintain team's asset library of text, photo and video content
  • Track and report marketing expenses, create summary reports of select sales data
  • Export Google Analytics reports, prepare for team review, and file in shared system
  • Set up promo codes in the order system and test if needed
  • Support major group projects

Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, with some experience with print and digital marketing practices, basic graphic design, and email production
  • Experience in setting and following deadlines, planning, and advancing projects, setting up meetings and emailing professionally with groups, collaborating within a team, working on marketing promotions and/or sales collateral
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Excellent writing, listening, speaking, and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of print and digital marketing practices, basic graphic and web design, and email principles
  • Ability to follow deadlines and budgets, work respectfully and constructively with diverse colleagues, meet strategic goals and priorities, and read and understand reports of sales and analytic data
  • Must have the initiative in solving problems and moving projects forward, strong attention to detail, aptitude for learning new applications, curiosity to better understand customers, and answer business questions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work/meetings and travel 1-2 times annually

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a similar field preferred
  • Experience in/with strategic multichannel marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Pardot, or a similar marketing automation platform
  • Understanding of print production and mailing processes
  • Familiarity with web editing programs and knowledge of basic web analytics
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Event management and/or educational program experience
  • Experience with sales and revenue generation
  • Familiarity with Aptify, Salesforce, or other CRM systems or large database
