Job Description

The Workday Developer, reporting to the Director of IT Business Systems, will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Workday platform to support our HR and finance functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, configure Workday modules, develop integrations, and provide ongoing support and enhancements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Helps identify, recommend, and implement quality improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and design solutions in Workday.

  • Configure Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Benefits.

  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other integration tools.

  • Customize Workday reports and dashboards to meet business needs.

  • Participate in system testing, deployment, and support activities.

  • Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and new features to recommend best practices and optimizations.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders and end-users

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 3+ years' experience as a Workday Developer, with hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financials

  • Experience developing Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and REST/SOAP APIs

  • Proven experience in being able to partner with the Human Resources team to drive solutions to meet business needs.

  • Good communication (verbal, written) skills and ability to work within all levels the organization effectively
