Job Description

As Commercial Human Resources Directoryou will provide both strategic and day-to-day primary human resources business partner support across different dynamic and growingdivisions. You will be responsible for strategic support to our Global Business leaders for specific divisions in addition to providing end-to-end human resources business partner support for ourNorth America teams.

This role will play a key leadership role within our Sales and Service leadership team and will be relied on to drive talent planning and development efforts, communication planning, sales compensation strategy as well as employee relations and workforce planning. This role will partner closely with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure that the talent we are acquiring and promoting is the talent we need both for the today as well as the future needs.Additionally, this role partners support division-wide work including driving a culture that supports our high-growth business strategy, ensuring high associate engagement and supporting our global talent development efforts.

  • This position can be located at either of our corporate office locations in Naperville, IL or Houston, Tx


What You Will Do:

  • Partner with the business to provide human resources support, planning and organizational / leadership development that enables the achievement of business strategies and growth
  • Possess awareness and an understanding of the climate/culture and issues in the organization; recommend and implement strategies that meet organization/business goals and maintains a positive and productive work environment
  • Develop, recommend and implement strategies and initiatives designed to further the engagement of our associate population
  • Provide coaching to managers and supervisors on performance management, employee development and other key areas
  • Drive a compelling sales field compensation approach to promote program selling
  • Drive annual talent planning (succession planning) and talent council work for North America including helping draft the North America talent review
  • Actively drive, create, and integrate career development tools
  • Manage employee relations issues in collaboration with appropriate resources including Law, Compensation and Benefits
  • Provide appropriate counsel and leadership on organization structure and design issues aligned to the business strategy
  • Plan and deliver organization and division-wide initiatives and processes including Engagement survey, annual HR processes such as merit, bonus, and performance, planning, and development and other process/compliance initiatives
  • Develop rollout and communication strategy, seeking input/alignment and managing execution of the above-mentioned and other initiatives and processes
  • Develop programs and processes to advance the business that can be implemented within North America as well as globally


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of progressive human resource experience, preferably as a generalist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, business or equivalent
  • MBA orMaster's Degreein related field
  • Proven employee relations and active listening skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels within and across the organization
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, influence decision-makers and implement solutions
