Responsibilities
    Define vision/strategy and manage the Accounting team to oversee the execution of the strategy.
  • Recruit and hire top talent and key strategic hires to drive Business(es) growth and ensure consistency within the team.
  • Make sure the right people are in the right positions to ensure success.
  • Drive and lead Employee Engagement and Retention.
  • Be a valued business partner for the Leadership Team.
  • Travel to Chicago, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Indianapolis as needed - up to 15%
  • Be viewed as the preeminent Gilbane Finance professional in our Wisconsin, Chicago, Minnesota and Indiana Business Groups (internally and externally).
  • As part of the Core Leadership Team responsible for meeting established Sales/Gross Profit goals/Overhead/Net Income.
  • Gatekeeper - Be a champion for ensuring policy and procedure knowledge, training and adherence within the Division.
  • Partnering with Division Leadership Risk management on all projects and proactive development of mitigation plans when risks are identified as well as claims and lawsuit management.
  • Drive financial performance on all projects ensuring accurate forecasts for projects.
  • Shared accountability for preventing erosion and forecasting slippage.
  • Ensure regulatory and tax compliance within the geography of the Division.
  • Model efforts for Gilbane Cares, Inclusion and Diversity, ESG and Gilbane's Core Values.
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 15 years with CM or General Contractor Organization
  • Experience leading a 20 person staff ideal
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proficient in CMiC and Microstrategy preferred
