Job Description

Position Requirements: High school graduate or Equivalent. Must be able to read follow instructions count money and use basic math skills. N/A Ability to communicate with customers.Ability to do medium lifting between 20 to 50 pounds occassionally 10 to 25 pounds frequently and/ or up to 10 pounds constantly.Ability to push and pull associated with duties.If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds or when patient is unable to assist with the lift patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.Purpose: Responsible to prepare and assemble patient trays washes/sanitizes dishware and equipment follows proper food handling procedures and maintains food stores and supplies in general work area.Accountabilities:Assembly of Patient trays.Assembly of Cold Foods.Pot and Pan SanitationReceiving and OrderingMaintenance of a safe and sanitary work environment observing sanitation and safety regulations ensuring compliance and licensure with regulatory agencies.Participation in self development by attending mandatory inservices and education programs appropriate to the goals and needs of the department.
