JobSummary:We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for helping others develop and grow. This newly created role will serve as the first central Extrusion North America (ENA) subject matter expert (SME) on Hydro's SAP SuccessFactors' Learning Management System (ONE) supporting the administration and maintenance of leadership, legal, compliance, and professional learning curricula to help strengthen the skills, capabilities and compliance culture of our workforce.

This position provides technical administration, training and consultative support to key stakeholders and end-users related to SAP SuccessFactors' Learning Module and related functions. As our first Global Learning Center resource to be based in North America, you will be the founding member of our North American team and have the unique opportunity to shape our future!

Job Location: Rosemont, IL or Pittsburgh, PA

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, in HR, Psychology, HR/LMS technologies, Learning and Development, any related field. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable for the position.
  • Minimum one (1) yearexperience across HR and/or Learning & Development.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with project and process management a plus
  • Hybrid role (3 days a week onsite at our Rosemont,IL or Pittsburgh, PA office, 2 days a week remote)
  • Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally

Job Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate for this position is expected to be self-motivated, proactive, willing to go beyond the call of duty, helpful and service-oriented, and adaptive to change.
  • The candidate must also have problem-solving skills, the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural setting across multiple time zones, and an ability to remain calm and composed under stress and uncertainty, inspiring the same with their colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and its application to data maintenance, reporting and dashboard presentations is a must.
  • Prior experience in learning & development, Human Resources Information Services (HRIS) and/or creating and running PowerBI reports (helpful)
  • Ability to effectively utilize platforms (e.g., Teams, Workplace, GoToWebinar, SharePoint) in the facilitation of training and sharing of information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, as this position will interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, both domestically and internationally.
  • Experience designing end-user guides and engaging presentations for diverse audiences throughout the organization.
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to recommend solutions to complex problems and to manage ambiguity across multiple priorities and cultures.
  • Experience with SAP HR / SuccessFactors is desired, but not required.
  • The candidate is expected to have a natural ability to work effectively and efficiently both autonomously and with others in a fast-paced complex and matrixed hybrid environment.
  • Developing evaluation and measurement procedures to assess the effectiveness of talent development initiatives and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assessing training completion and reports effectiveness of courses.
  • Staying abreast of current talent development trends and best practices, utilizing learning to improve job performance as well as to make recommendations to continuously improve courses, curricula and programs.
  • Champion taking our learning and compliance culture to the next level of maturity.
  • Will be required to successfully complete SAP SuccessFactors certification of Learning Module.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
