You are: An agile Product Development guru with the Digital Thread and Twin expertise needed to help transform the Medical Tech industry. You're advisory-minded and got tons of experience with the digital transformation of product development and supply chain. You draw on Strategy & Consulting to help clients see where they stand today, what challenges and technology trends they face, and what new opportunities are theirs for the taking. You're also comfortable working closely with Accenture and client teams supporting the sales process from origination to closing.


The work:

Go deep to get the lay of the land of the industry, product development, and supply chain challenges that clients are facing to grasp clients' transformation opportunities in the context of global, economic, technology, and industry trends.

Apply strong analytical skills to dig deep into clients' R&D, PLM, and supply chain capabilities to identify where clients can leverage Digital Thread & Twin technologies for the greatest strategic impact and to drive business outcomes.

Help your team pinpoint the right Digital Thread & Twin strategies, capabilities, and technologies to meet the needs of clients and help draw up practical transformation road maps that position clients for long-term success.

  • Lead your and the clients' teams through large Digital Thread & Twin transformation journeys
  • Build relationships with clients to maintain Accenture's profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
  • Keep deepening your prowess in business and technology strategy to reinforce Accenture's reputation as a thought leader.
  • Responsibilities of the role may include:
  • Performed project management activities in the areas of Product Engineering and Manufacturing & Digital Operations
  • Work closely with the Accenture team and key stakeholders to understand requirements, owning specifications and design documents, and deploy the applications.
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
  • Lead customer workshops
  • Lead functional teams
  • Coach the implementation team
  • Provide Functional system solutions for PLM / MES systems.
  • Lead in the functional design and the functional Architecture of the solution.
  • Design and implement application configurations to meet business process and application requirements. Review and approve functional specifications and conduct code walk-through.
  • Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
  • Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management and/or manufacturing best practices, methods, and processes.
  • Develop test plans to assure that developed solution satisfies client requirements.
  • Management and follow up on internal and external sales campaigns.
  • Continuing development and refinement of offerings and collateral to support/promote the sales of offerings (overviews, case studies, account planning, marketing information).
  • Successfully supporting the sales process from origination to successful closing (including offering fine tuning, solution shaping, proposal preparation, client presentations).

Qualifications Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years' work experience).
  • 8 years of professional experience with PLM solution delivery: WINDCHILL preferred, 3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter.
  • 8 years of professional experience in Engineering/Manufacturing IT systems including ERP, PLM, MES and QMS.
  • 4 years of program management experience in IT systems (Engineering/Manufacturing) including ERP, PLM, MES and QMS

Bonus points if:

  • Experience with 3D visualization, AR/VR, IoT, Blockchain, telemetry
  • Experience in the following industries:
    • Aerospace & Defense
    • Electronics & High Tech
    • Energy & Utilities
    • Automotive/Tier 1 Suppliers
    • Industrial Equipment
    • Travel, Transportation and Logistics
    • Consumer packaged goods
  • Systems Implementation methodology knowledge (Agile Methodology, Waterfall)
  • Good analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information system environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Proposal development experience
  • Team management experience, 5 or more team members

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below?.

California: $ 169,400-$196,000

Colorado: $146,300-$170,000

New York City: $169,400-$196,000

New York Albany: 135,000 -$157,000

Washington: $155,800-$181,000
