Estimated annual base pay:$109,900 - $137,300 (midpoint) - $164,800

Are you ready to make your mark?If you're a Global Trade Compliance Technology and Systems Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you.The Global Trade Compliance Technology and Systems Manager position supports the continuing execution and enhancement of the global trade compliance program. This position will serve as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert in export classification and have responsibility for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of trade management systems and databases.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies, processes, and standard work for jurisdiction/classification activities to ensure ongoing compliance with all export laws, regulations and policies related to the export of technical data, commodities, software, and services
Collaborates with Engineering, IT and other functional areas as needed to ensure jurisdiction/classification activities (e.g., Marking requirements and Destination Control Statements) are implemented within Woodward's product development processes and operating systems
Directly supports the enterprise-wide global trade compliance strategy and program by ensuring effective implementation and administration of trade management systems and databases to mitigate global trade compliance risks and promote operational and compliance excellence within the Business Segments
Supports the Business Segment Global Trade Compliance Specialists by providing guidance on matters pertaining to jurisdiction/classification
Oversees jurisdiction/classification activities performed within the Company's two Business Segments, Aerospace and Industrial
Prepares and submits Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) and Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) requests to the USG as needed
Consults with business leadership regarding compliance risks and relevant Company policies, procedures, processes and practices
Promotes the enterprise-wide integration of the Company's global trade compliance program, including non-U.S. locations
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technical field preferred
Masters Degree preferred
5+ years leadership experience within the global trade compliance function of a multinational company required
5+ years experience leading and managing highly visible projects and teams required
5+ years experience implementing U.S. global trade compliance initiatives required
Required to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international)
