Job/Internship Description

Position Overview

The IMS IT Opertations intern will work daily with management professionals and staff members of the Network Operations, Cyber Security Operations, Aircraft Connectivity Support and Service Desk teams. This role will help prepare the department for a planned shift to a new core toolset that will lead toward improved automation and customer experience. This role will also need to work with stakeholders outside the IMS Operations shared service to include business unit project, program and product leaders to facilitate service onboarding and project success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility to complete actions related to IMS Customer Operations projects and goals

  • Assist in the implementation of ServiceNow as the new ITSM for Collins Aerospace IMS

  • Learn and assist in the implementatino of ITIL best practices across our teams in support of IMS customers

  • Developing knowledge base articles and procedure references

  • Documenting processes and procedures

  • Contribute to ACE/LEAN Culture and Continuous Improvement activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
